Time to put my resolution into practice; let’s keep you updated on what’s keeping me busy these days!
For starters, I’ve got a job (yay!), a real job!
, working part time as Support and Marketing manager at Orbicule. They are a company that writes software for Mac. Their main product at the time is Undercover, an anti-theft program which is -no joking- really cool. If you want to learn more, you should definitely check out their website: www.orbicule.com
So as part (time) of the team, I’m currently maintaining the client support and doing graphic and icon design for their products. And so much more; it’s probably the most multi-purposed job in the universe.
Apart from that, I’m setting myself up as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer. I got my first freelance job from Averbode this summer, so that’s all wrapped up. But for the results, you’ll have to wait untill November, when the Leeskriebel “Trol op hol” (Troll on the loose) is coming out.
Other recent projects:
My Resume:
The idea was to “sell myself” to the company where I was applying for a job. So I would send out my resume as an order form for this doll (=myself) with all the features (=my talents and skills) on it. Get it? ![]()
Unfortunately (or not!) I found the coolest job at Orbicule real quick, so i didn’t have time to put this plan into action. But hey, I did have some fun!
Leaflet for a homeopath:
He asked me to do some pen and ink illustrations (of a flower, a tree and a small boat) for his leaflet on Homeopathy.
Solar Tour Logo:
The Solar Team needed a logo for their tour around Belgium with the Solar Car.
Just an illustration
